The modern, stylish Roband Grill Station is now available in six or eight slice size models. The latest addition to the Roband range sets the benchmark for commercial contact grills. The versatile unit rapidly toasts sandwiches, paninis and focaccias, in addition to producing beautifully seared and grilled tender meat, poultry and fish. Featuring elements embedded directly into smooth, high pressure die-cast aluminium plates, the cooking surface produces an even, extremely efficient heat transfer ensuring food is cooked rapidly with even colouration. The Roband Grill Station truly is a must-have for cafes, takeaways, sandwich shops or anywhere that toasting and / or grilling is required.

  • Six or eight sandwich capacity
  • Quality high pressure die-cast aluminium cooking plates with cast-in elements for efficient, directional and effective heat transfer
  • Precise thermostat for controlling cooking temperature
  • Even temperature distribution across each plate and between the top and bottom plates
  • Ability to switch between top and bottom plate operation or bottom plate only operation
  • A counter-balanced top plate and an arched handle makes operating the Grill Station easy
  • Easy one-handed loading and unloading of food with the top plate capable of staying partially open at an
    approximate 45° angle
  • A load limiter that reduces the resting weight of the top plate on food being grilled or toasted
  • High splashguard with top plate always positioned over bottom plate ensuring grease and crumbs fall onto

  • A front positioned grease collection box collects grease and crumbs and is well-positioned for easy removal and cleaning
  • Small counter space requirement due to the elimination of a cumbersome back cable

Roband Grill – The Details:

 

  1. Fully adjustable springs located in base of unit to alter lid loading preventing “crushing” of delicate/speciality breads (Gluten Free) or fish products which require gentle contact.

 

  1. Grills can be DOUBLE STACKED and be located in a 400 deg C environment (e.g. above a 6 burner range or next to steamers/deep fat fryers etc.)

 

  1. Base is a “Cool Zone” allowing Grill Station to be placed on Plastic or Laminated work surfaces and is fully portable even at 280 deg C.

 

  1. Perfect EQUAL Caramelisation produced from both upper and lower plates

 

  1. When switching between food products i.e Full English Breakfast, Toasted Sandwiches or Fish, simply use “Grease Proof” paper to prevent cross contamination from caramelised cook surface. Grease proof paper WILL NOT affect the end result and will still achieve perfect Caramelisation of the end product. This removes the need to clean down cook surface between different menus.

  • The unique XP Ref-freezer base can be set as a refrigerator or freezer at temperatures between -20°C and +10°C and can be combined with any top appliance.

 

  • The new IcyHot solution for high productivity environments couples the Ref-freezer base with either the 1200m XP PowerGrill or XP Fry Top to provide all the flexibility a kitchen needs.

 

  • The new XP gas Pasta Cooker with the unique Energy Control feature allows the user to finely regulate boiling intensity according the food being cooked. It can be equipped with an Energy Saving Device accessory that increases productivity without additional energy consumption.
  • The unique 900XP gas Convection Oven with two-level cooking can be placed below XP Flower-Flame gas Burners, Solid Tops or Fry Tops to offer smaller kitchens a multi-functional cooking unit with improved productivity.
